Proposal for the Development of a Documentation Tutor Chatbot for AISdb
This issue is raised to propose developing and integrating a chatbot trained with LangChain (https://python.langchain.com/docs/modules/data_connection/document_loaders/integrations/readthedocs_documentation) and an open-source Language Model (LLM) to serve as a tutor for the AISdb documentation. This initiative aims to facilitate the onboarding process for new users and provide ongoing support in navigating the various functionalities of AISdb.
The proposed chatbot would be capable of providing code examples, assisting in debugging, and offering guidance based on the user's needs. The effectiveness of this tool would be contingent on the quality and completeness of the existing documentation. However, given the wealth of open-source tools and pre-existing code at our disposal, the potential benefits of this initiative are substantial. Something similar was done here, but it is no longer being maintained: https://github.com/hwchase17/chat-langchain.
For the development of the chatbot, we suggest exploring models such as those available on Hugging Face's Model Hub (https://huggingface.co/models). These models have been trained on various data and could provide a solid foundation for our chatbot. I can assist closer in this matter if you both think it is a feasible and exciting idea.
Cheers!
